XXImo is growing rapidly, and we are looking for talented individuals like you! As Legal Counsel within XXImo, you will play a vital role in providing legal support across a diverse range of engaging strategic and operational international commercial matters.
As Legal Counsel, you will be a sparring partner and legal advisor for the business that will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the organisation. You will build and set the strategy for the legal department together with the Senior Legal Counsel and Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance officer.
Role & Responsibility
Your general legal knowledge means that you can support the business on a range of legal issues, such as commercial agreements, corporate matters and financial regulation. A key part of your role will revolve around contract management, while keeping up to date with relevant regulations will also be a part of your duties.
Tasks that are part of your responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents
- Supporting on various legal issues requiring knowledge on inter alia corporate law and WFT
- Making sure that contract management is kept up-to-date
- Making sure you are in line with the different stakeholders of the business regarding all legal matters
Knowledge, expertise & competencies
You:
- Have completed a Master's degree in Dutch and/or Notarial Law
- Have at least four years of work experience as a lawyer and/or in-house legal counsel;
- Have experience in drafting and negotiating complex (commercial) agreements;
- Have experience in the mobility, payment industry or Fintech is a plus;
- Have experience with AML/Sanction laws and legislation is also an advantage;
- Are fluent in Dutch and English
- Have a pragmatic and solution-oriented work attitude;
- Are independent, pro-active and with a great sense of responsibility;
- Are analytical, persuasive, curious and result-oriented;
- Have experience in (legal) project management in a commercial environment;
- Are a real team player.
