Enterprise Architect

This is a full-time hybrid role for a visionary Enterprise Architect at XXImo. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for shaping the technological direction of our company, designing and driving the architecture of our digital platforms, ensuring they align with our business goals, technological standards, and customer needs. Your focus will be on delivering scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions that support XXImo’s mission to lead the fintech industry in innovative business payments and expense management solutions within the mobility space.

Role & Responsibility

• Architectural Strategy & Vision: Develop and maintain the company’s enterprise architecture vision and strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
• Technology Roadmap: Define and manage the Architectural roadmap to guide the implementation of scalable, secure, and innovative fintech solutions.
• Platform Modernization: Lead the modernization of existing platforms and the design of new systems to meet evolving business needs and customer expectations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, product teams, developers, and external partners to ensure alignment between business strategies and technical solutions.
• Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and governance models to ensure consistency, quality, and security across the technology landscape.
• Solution Design: Oversee the design and integration of solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective while leveraging cloud-native and microservices architectures.
• Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of the latest trends in fintech, cloud computing, data security, and digital transformation to continuously improve and innovate.
• Risk Management: Identify potential technology risks and dependencies, creating contingency plans and mitigation strategies.
• Mentorship Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of architectural excellence and technical leadership.
• Team Management: foster a collaborative and innovative environment where Solution Architects feel empowered to contribute their expertise and ideas.

Knowledge, expertise & competencies

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or related technical leadership roles, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Proven track record of implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, with preference for AWS).
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with modern development practices like CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and agile methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and tools such as ESBs, event-driven architectures, and API management.
• Leadership Skills:
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive problem-solver who can navigate complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or similar certifications are a plus.
